well I'm trying to set up a myBB forum but i can't get the email function to work at all. i set up the email on Gmail and enabled pop and all and changed the MX records on my server so it would work.
but the problem is i need to use SSL encryption to access the gmail account from myBB but my host doesn't have that enabled and won't enable it unless i have paid hosting :(
so what i want to know is where can i setup the email on a server that doesn't need any encryption like gmail does?? and where you can setup pop for free (yahoo charges you) .
