Disable Images should be there.
Nah, that would be holding the internet back
If they want no images they should go back to 1995.
The ability to disable images is definitely needed.
Take school as an example. Wee're capped to 80MB of quota that refills by 10MB a day. No disable images = no using the internet.

There are a few hick-ups right now. I suggest waiting for it to come out of Beta before using it full-time. The Beta does not support plug-ins atm.
........
Does ANYONE Use a HOSTS file?
I don't even need any Adblock plugins.

And I'd be bothered to manually track and figure out the URL of ads and insert them into the host file...?
(Yeah, I know there's probably a better way...)
^^ I found something similar too.. but samething happened. Flash crashed as well. Just lucky that the entire browser did not.
I really doubt Google would like to implement a Disable Image/Ads/Flash/Script option. After all, all their revenue is gonna come from all of those. Heck, even Firefox doent block ads by default. It will be up to third party add-on developers to give Chrome version of No-Script and Ad-Block Plus. No Script will have to work for v8 as well...
Then again, this is the first Beta, and despite Google's claim as to not using this for Testing, that is bullchocolate. Obviously now that a million people will use it for a million other purposes, Google is gonna just develop this. I'm interested in what RC1 will look like. Can't expect much from a Beta browser! One thing though, for a Beta, its better than IE and almost on par with FF3... that is quite something...
