I'm trying to download the file from torrents is that possible to just use the ISO? What is CF? Were you able to get all this to work? Do you have IM Messenger.

RE: Playing PSP Games on Your Memory Stick
No you NEED to have custom firmware to basically do anything remotely good with your PSP.
That means:
Playing game ISOs
Watching ISO movies
Playing Homebrew
Changing themes (I mean more customisable themes, PTFs don't really have much with them)
Using Recovery Menu
Viewing certain types of vids
Having specific plugins like the XMB Music Player etc
and much much much more........
I think that wraps it up....
If you need help installing custom firmware go to this thread:

RE: Playing PSP Games on Your Memory Stick
You need to install CF [I call it CFW - Custom FirmWare] in order to run Homebrew or ISOs.
Refer to other guides found around the Forum to find out how to get Custom Firmware on your PSP Slim 3.71.
Good Luck!
Edit: Seems MehHakker beat me to it ~~

Results from ℋiЬЬyℬot™ - "better than Google"You need to use CF (custom firmware) to do anything extra on your PSP,
Go back and read the options I gave in your other thread,
