So I've been spending the day programming after reading for a few hours the day before, and after a lot of poo poo this is about where I am. It's a small .swf flash file (yes, you can open it):

Remember, its more about the code than the looks right now and this is all standard pretty much :P
You type into the lower textbox. As soon as you start, it records the time and whenever you hit enter, the time is recorded again and compared to the start time to determine the time it took you to type whatever you did, and it's added to the autoscrolling box above that.

Note that you can't paste anything, you can't use your arrow keys and you shouldn't be able to select anything either. See if you can find some problems with it and I'll see if I can fix them :D
