.rco Compatibility
I heard that system_plugin_bg.rco was universally compatible on all M33 custom firmwares.
Are there any other .rco files that can be used from previous cfw's without having to be updated ??

It would save me alot of my (very rare) spare time, if I could use a bunch of those older rco mods without having to re inject the images into new .rco files.   :)

RE: .rco Compatibility
Test them?  It main depends what Sony has done to the RCOs, and whether the PSP will accept them or not.

Basically, if the PSP is looking for an icon, and it's not there, it will stuff up...

RE: .rco Compatibility
Im not too sure about your question Shizzy. But

I know for a FACT that topmenu 3.40 works on 3.52 M33 flawlessly without any problems.   I tested it myself.

RE: .rco Compatibility
system_bg should be universal to all FW
even 2.x works fine for 3.90

but it's not recommend to use previous version due to lazy conversion. side effect may be hidden somewhere

use RCOEditor to Extract All/Replace All won't take you much time on it

RE: .rco Compatibility
If you use older ones you lose options in settings using higher firmwares.

RE: .rco Compatibility
Is updating really that much of a pain?

Can't you just extract them all and then replace them all?
