heh that's weird the only announcement I've heard at a library is "the library will be closing soon....."

the only thing I've done at the library is research for school projects read harry potter when i was littler read che-guevaras bio and play wifi with ppl

you see signs in carparks (parking lots) all over the UK saying "Theives are operating in this area. Do not leave laptop computers in your car." It says nothing about desktops, and my dad had one of those nabbed from the back of his car. Luckily it was on its way to the dump and very, very dead (lightning stike, multiple times).
