as far as I know money recovers from wetness better than electronics in most cases... though u can't use it for a while (though, u can always just pay with it and the store sorta has to accept)

RE: iPod Nano 2nd Gen vs Washing Machine
Ok its now more than 24 hours after I found it. Last night the screen already looked pretty dry, but this morning the alarm that is set for 6 am didnt go off. It is now 8 PM so I thought id test it. I pressed all the buttons but nothing has happened. I will now attempt to dock it.

WOOOOOO!! IT Lives!!!!
The screen is fudgeed up though....

kinda looks cool actually :P like a wallpaper, but it has a really 3d effect to it (u can't see it in the pics). well anyway i don't mind it, and the ipod fully functions :D well maybe the battery life is severly impaired due to prolonged short-circuiting (yaay, now theres a bigger chance itll explode on me and ill get a new one :D)

the thing i don't like about all of this is that the formerly perfect edges are beat up, and ill have to shave some more off slightly cause its scratching my dock like this.

ps blame my strange external isight for the flipped pics. and excuse the music playing if u manage to decypher it, i just clicked something

Update- the ipod dies as soon as i unplug it. This could mean the battery has died, however I have read on ars tech that this exactly happened to the ipod they tested (washed) but after a long recharge it was resolved :D *hopes*

lol hope it works for you. . . I mean being happy that it lives then finding out it dies after unplugging it! that sucks! . . . if it still doesn't work you have yourself a pretty neat looking USB flash drive!
