Religion?
What kinds of beliefs does everyone on EP have?
Personally, I´m a Christian that believes certain things in LDS. I´m the type of guy that questions things and I have lots of religious theories.
Who knows, maybe this could turn into a civilized discussion on religion.(Please try to keep the flaming to a minimum)

I think the new testament was the only explanation the simple minds of people 2007 years ago could give to yet another alien visit... I say another, 'cause I think the Egyptians must've had one, and the Incas, and probably many others...
And the old testament? Don't get me started... (Dinosaurs)?

My parents are Anglican, and I was raised Anglican. Wee went to church every week, I was part of the youth group there, and my Mom is still a Sunday School teacher there.
I'm atheist now though, I have been since I was 13, I stopped going to church then too.

I don't mean to start a debate, and I'm not bashing anyone's beliefs, but I just don't see how anyone can believe there is no God. I mean, look at people. Do you realize that the odds of that happening without some sort of guidance are slim to none?
Actually, if I went to any sort of Christian church with the kinds of religious theories and ideas I had, I'd get thrown out and called a heathen. For instance, I think that the world is billions of years old because I don't think God would give us a way to tell the age of things and have it be purposely wrong. I also believe in the Big Bang because it proves there was a moment of creation.
