That sounds like you want to force a screenshot plugin into the firmware itself. O_o
Why not just use seplugins? They're safer >_>

RE: I don't know how to add lines to the pspbctnf.bin and other relate
NO WAY! I want to be able to take screenshots anytime I want, without having to go to seplugins to enable/disable every time I want to play a game. screenshotbmp.prx works from f0 all the time with no errors, but it won't allow homebrew/Isos to lauch if it's enabled in vsh and game or just one of the two. (seplugins)
Thanks for trying to help though! :)

screenshotbmp.prx sounds similar to SVCapture...yet I can run ISOs just fine with that o_O
Though something about my plugins does break homebrews in the Game351/Game352 folder. It's not SVCapture though, as I just disabled that to test.

No, it's definitely screenshotbmp.prx. And by the way, the resolution for SVCapture is AWFUL compared to screenshotbmp.prx. If you want to give it a shot, it will at least work for vsh, so you can get some good, clean pics. Here:

The note button, which is just LEFT of SELECT. (The sound tone button)

RE: I don't know how to add lines to the pspbctnf.bin and other relate
well, SVCapture works just fine for me, and I don't really see how a screen capture that matches the PSP's screen resolution can be 'low resolution.'
I'd gladly take a look at shots from screenshotbmp.prx to compare, but it just won't run for me. Period. I push Note and nothing happens. O_o
I even disabled all other plugins to make sure nothing interfered with it.
EDIT: Nevermind! There's a bug in screenshotbmp.prx that prevents it from working if ms0:/PSP/PHOTO/capture/ does not exist.

My bad... I didn't mean "resolution"... I meant contrast/brightness.
Sorry about your luck. That's really odd. I can get it to run in vsh only. Oh well. If I could figure out how to add lines in the bin files myself, I would hook you up. It's the best, imho.

just add "BoostBrightness = NO" (without "") to capture.ini and the screens will come out in normal brightness :p
