yeah effective today in our country the Philippines..

http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2...easonable/

its like SOPA, but have larger scope, beside anti-piracy, you can now libel any people who have cyberbullied you or if you don't like the posts, even if you r only share the message or like it, you can be also sued (i think its already in the link of the news above for some details)

our government is already fudgeed up Burning

Also against hershey kisses and P2P, perhaps two things that use quite a significant amount of internet bandwidth.
I do wonder how well it'll be enforced though.  Will people stop doing these things, ignore it, or migrate to VPNs/darknets?

Quote:But there’s also cybersex, pornography, file-sharing (SOPA’s main target) and the most controversial provision, online libel.

Since when has cybersex hurt anyone?  That usually happens between two consenting parties.  It's not like someone can force cybersex on to you.

Pornography, I can sort of understand, since it's usually a clip ripped from some DVD, so it's copyrighted material.

As for cyber bullying, I've always found the block button useful in which most social networking sites have that implemented.  Also, I think the term "cyber bullying" should only apply if some bully the victim knows in real life, has extended their torment of them online.  Like, taking embarrassing photos of their victim, or making videos, showing them beating the crap out them, and posting it online for everyone to see.  Other than that, anonymous strangers you meet online are easy to avoid.

actually as of today, wee still "bully" our government. and to stop this law for further implementing, anyways wee have not still feel the law been enforced, maybe in a couple of days

old people don't usually go to internet so sometimes when wee criticized them, they tell them they are been bullied, lol

The one who added the libel part apparently wants to "remove" that.
