D-d-d-double post.

Had a mess around on the HD expansions. Mighty impressed. Also had a go at cross play which is aweessoommeee. As Sensei etc found out you can launch your own game with cross play by selecting "Play Now" you can even pick the track etc and if wee are all PSN buddies you can see your friends game and hop on it.

LETS DO SOME RACING.

16th September Meetup

Right, here's the deal.

This weekend we're having a Wipeout HD Fury/2048 Crossplay Meetup, any EPers invited.

Razgriz and myself will be managing things (if one or the other is afk, we can cover each other) and the maximum capacity of racers in involved is 8 - you know what that means, first dibs on the grid. With the expected turnout however, I don't expect to exceed that number, so it should be okay.

That said, the rooms made are not private, so we have no control over who joins or leaves, so the closer we get together on the time set, the better chance we have of racing altogether.

Records will be kept here (if successfully saved) and when this weekends racing is complete, this thread will be merged into the main Wipeout thread.

Vita players: try not to fudge up. Don't make assumptions - the PS or Power button will disconnect you from PSN instantly if pressed while in online modes and if the tournament has already started, you won't be able to race again till it's finished, also, make sure the battery is fully juiced (not knowing how long the session will last) or make sure it's plugged in cause if it dies wee know wee won't be seeing your for a while.

Time: 3pm BST/GMT+1 (countdown)

So make yourself known - post here/be signed into PSN ahead of time and things will come together.

There will be multiple events. If the timezone doesn't work for you,
join in later as events will still be taking place till around 7pm BST!

Can I just suggest that owners of 2048 play at least both HD and Fury packs as it has been known that, whilst selecting reverse courses and Fury only courses, people have been booted from the lobby, so make sure you've played them. Also practice practice practice! Learn the courses and show us what you've got!

Just remember, you're up against the Razgriz itself on the track ;3

this was a lot of fun like over two years ago with wipeout on psp... id play again but im not really great at wipeout and im stuck playing dead space 2 on hardcore....
