It's not a fact on which one is better
It's an opinion
Some like PRO better
Some prefer ME over PRO

I personally like PRO-C because of the online client ;)

i prefer ME over PRO but i use both

on my 1000 i use 6.60 ME-1.8 and 6.60 PRO-C
on my 3000 i use 6.60 LME-1.8 and 6.60 PRO-C

i prefer ME cause you can change the VSH menu to have only the options you want,you can just press right on the D-PAD to pick an option in the VSH menu,also with ME you can change the VSH and recovery menu colors

for vsh:
red,green,blue,pink,purple,orange,yellow,black,white

for recovery:
red,green,blue

only thing i use PRO-C for is the online client

well.. some prefer like this

early PSP 1k & 2k Fully Hackable (non-TA-088v3+) = 6.60 ME 1.8

PSP 2k (TA-088v3), PSP 3k, PSP GO = 6.20 PRO-C (with Permanent Patch Applied) or 6.60 PRO-C or LME 1.8 (or even dual boot 6.60 PRO-C & LME 1.8)
