that is correct i have 3 os's on my mac, one running on an external

bootcamp will only install on the internal, but you can clone the install to an external and then you can boot from an external

If you think that laptop is fast now, you have no idea!  Put an SSD in and its REDICULOUS!!!!
Open the lid for instant resume from standby, bootup is less than 10 seconds. I had a video *that i can't find* where I booted from cold, and opened 50x 5-7mb jpg files in photoshop cs5 in less than 45 seconds!  

I've been an avid mac hater all my life...now i don't play pc games so there is no reason not to be on a mac since all my computer work is photoshop and data storage.
