RE: 3.40OE Wont boot into recovery
it says 3.40oe-a in the info. i first used the oeuodmaker and stuff on this psp to get the data.dxar ang then i flashed it, and afterwards i used the same data.dxar to flash my own psp from 3.03oe-c and it works fine, the same data file! so either the flasher messed up or?

i tried putting the flasher in game150, it didnt show in the xmb at all. verry strange. do you think i could just upgrade back to 3.50 and downgrade again? but what is causing this?

i can't boot into recovery so i can't access f0 or f1 via usb, just maybe some recovery menu eboot or somet will work, does anyone have one of these?
Double post
as for flash1 formatter, it only runs from recovery, not the xmb

1 is just an eboot to launch recovery and the other is something else which might interest you, i say look at both.

RE: 3.40OE Wont boot into recovery
if you can run homebrew try those links that dedat gave ya. if you can't run homebrew just downgrade from where you are. you risk bricking your psp completly if you try the sony update because that bug to my knowledge was never fixed.
your safest bet is to try the downgrader from what your on atm and then go to another version of oe from there. i would also not bother reusing the dxar you created because it may be the problem. it is my understanding that you should not use the dxar on any other psp than the one that created it. now i know you said that the psp with the problem created it but maybe you made a mistake? that's about the only reason i can think of why recovery won't work.
so anyway try homebrew and see what happens.

Always remember - Google is your friend :)

RE: 3.40OE Wont boot into recovery
i had to put it in GAME for it to be recognised in the first place. so maybe it tries to use the 340 kernel which doesn't work?

RE: 3.40OE Wont boot into recovery
hey i got into recovery, how do i downgrade now?
Double post
thank god, im on 150 now. i used the lumines exploit to activate HEN and then i ran because` recovery, it did nothing but when i went to shut it down the screen flashed recovery for a sec! so i pressed the brightness and it appeared. i exited and rebooted with R and now it all worked, and i downgraded.
