Mediumgauge has released a new iteration of the PSP Filer homebrew application. PSP Filer is a very useful file organizer for the Sony PSP handheld system.

This latest version brings PSP Filer up to version 3.51. Here’s a list of what Mediumgauge has added taken from Mediumgauge’s page at Geocities:

    * Fixed a bug allowing files ” “, “.” and “..” to be created on RAMDISK
    * Fixed missing option to overwrite files on flash0/1
    * Able to delete read-only files
    * Able to play low bit rate and high sampling MP3 files (e.g. less than 48kbps and 44.1Khz)
    * Files and directories are now drawn with different colours
    * When copying/moving files, selecting cancel in ‘confirm overwrite’ dialog will not close copying dialog

As Mediumgauge says in the readme file, use this application at your own risk. To minimize the chances of damaging your PSP, please read the appropriate readme file included in the download below for installation and usage instructions.

Ive not used that one yet, i always tend to use File Assistant.does it allow you to browse inside files or just copy/ delete/re name them? not that that isn't good or awt.:)

flash0/USB is not that convenient  :yes:

But it is true.

I don't know. I had some weird issues when using the flash/usb connection to flash gameboots.

Using something like pspfiler seemed to help.

Meh. using PSP filer is easy and fast once you have learned the controls.

Why don't you tell all the ppl here how to use it?
