If she said she switched the game boot then that happened, then maybe she has to change the game boot back and try opening the PSP again. Her PSP won't get bricked by just changing the game boot. So, I think the game boot has the problem because you said that the memory stick light flashes then the PSP crashes. So, I think this ain't a brick.

Its a full brick,you know one of them things you build houses with...

danyelramirez, Problem with just switching a gameboot on a unhackable it should cause a brick,i have heard of some youtube guys changing there gameboot in the flash...
theres a nice plugin that does it for you.makes it look like they really changed the gameboot.
but should not be done in the flash.....

Ohhh. Ok then. I thought she only changed the game boot from a CTF or modified the RCO or even replaced it. I never thought that she changed or messed up the one which is in the flash. Well, yeah, maybe it's a brick. Maybe she has done something wrong and then bricked it. But why wass the memory stick flashing?

well i guess the best thing to learn from this is not to mess with flash0... pissed me off when i kept bricking my psp so i opted for ctf themes instead.
