PSP E-1000 'Hacked'
Quote:The new PSP , E-1000, has been deflowered by two hackers in the GamesCom .
To understand how this was possible, you should know that this new PSP demo is free on the stands of Sony . It should also be noted, but wee'll talk when wee issue dedicated to the ugly beautiful, it does not interest many people and for the test, there is no waiting and no one to watch (or for 'borrow' a priori). Normal, in itself, because right in front are the PSVita with all the exclusive games to test.
In those circumstances, that two hackers , who want to remain anonymous, have demonstrated a simple but effective: it is possible to run homebrew on the PSP Cheap . Note that the firmware installed on the console is 6.50.
To be clear, this achievement is just there for pleasure and does nothing extraordinary. The homebrew is actually signed, and then starts, no worries, the little news of Sony .

RE: PSP E-1000 'Hacked'
Doesn't really sound that great. I think the main parts are that it was done at GamesCon, and whether there'll be a kernel exploit or not.
At this point, I don't really think Sony is that eager to patch it...

RE: PSP E-1000 'Hacked'
I don't think they even care, they kind of have given up on the PSP because the Vita is their new baby. Okay, perhaps that's too bold of a statement so let's say they have a "lesser interest" in the PSP. Also it seems like he had a hard time pressing the bottom buttons, the layout kind of reminds of the 3DS buttons which can be tricky to press. I know it's to make the unit have a more flushed look but is there anything really wrong with having individual buttons?
As for his shaky hands, well it is a huge public place and no doubt he was worried about a Sony rep or someone else pointing out that he's doing something to the unit. All you need is one kid to walk by and say "What kind of game is that or how did you do that?" then the whole plan is ruined leading to your discovery.

They should name it "PSP Lite" instead.

RE: PSP E-1000 'Hacked'
Wait, how is that hacked again? All he did was put in his memory dіck and try to run some homebrew.
If signed homebrew works on 6.60, then why won't they run on 6.50 (which the demo units apparently came with)?
