In Spain they say they foound the operational mechanism of Anonymous.

Quote:As per a statement released by the Spanish National Police, three members of the famous Anonymous hacker group were arrested in Spain earlier today.

The Spanish National Police has let out that they have arrested three leaders of the Anonymous hacker group in Barcelona, Valencia and Almeria.

It has been said that one of these hackers home played host to a server from which attacks were co-ordinated and implemented on various government websites, financial institutions and business organizations from all over the world. The organzation had an independent cell structure that when agreed upon threw thousands of denial of service (DDoS) attacks on web servers causing them to collapse.

They traced that the server launched attacks on the “Sony PlayStation Store, Sony Playstation Store, BBVA, Bankia, ENEL and the governments of Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Iran, Chile, Colombia and New Zealand.“

This was the first operation taken up by the police in Spain against the Anonymous. The Technological Investigation Brigade division of the National Police is said to have analyzed over 2 million lines of chat logs before it lead them to the hackers.

The investigation began in October 2010 following the report filed by the Ministry of Culture suffering a DDoS attack on their website. It was said that the attack was in protest at the passing of the “Law of Sustainable Economy” bill passed by the country’s Congress and the Senate. The ministry was once again attacked in December 2010.

The search continued even when Anonymous claimed responsibility for the attack on the Central Electoral Board on May 18, 2011 just a few days before the municipal and regional elections. This led the police to trace down and arrest one of the leaders, a 31 year old, in Almeria. It was him who gave the police a lead on the infrastructure of the server located in his house that was used for all these attacks.

The other two were also tracked down and arrested by leads from more recent attacks. All three suspects have been charged with criminal damage, discovery and disclosure of secrets and conspiracy.

Very good timing for Mr Kaz Hirai to say “they might never find the hackers“. He’ll be one happy man when he gets this information if he has not already.

On the very next day , today the local authorities says the spanish police web page have been under attack.....?
For me this is all fake about today attacks , discuss if you want.
