Now my question about my dropbox account is: After I put something in my dropbox and it uploads, is it ok to delete the file from my PC if I ever need to clear some space?  (I would imagine it should be, but I am wondering why they don't just have you upload the file directly to their site in the 1st place.)

Hey Shizzy, sorry that I didn't write you faster. DropBox is like an external disc. You can delete the files from your Pc but they'll stay on the DropBox space.

But if you start the dropbox client again, it will download the files again. But you can skip this.
