This, i think, is pretty much useless.

As both PRO and TN have the option to skip the gameboot.

But maybe for the ME users^ it's useful. ;)

I was eXx1l3d from Techmantis.net for my ways.

I suppose it's also useful for those using other firmwares as well. I just recently downgraded back to 5.00M33 because the applications I use for school and work cannot be operated on the newer firmwares. I'm fairly certain that firmware does not have a gameboot skip feature but don't quote me on that and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I tend to cycle through several applications often, so this is help cut down on the time it takes to load each one. Although I think if I were to use another memorystick instead of the Photofast then perhaps I'd gain better speeds with the plugin as of right now it takes 5-6 seconds to launch.

It's much better than the 10-12 it did before.

yea. ur right. for those on pro and tn wee might find it useless.
but i believe its intended for those who don't have that option.

RE: Gameboot Skiper v1.1 released
Well it's not really as interesting as you'd think. I tend to use mine to write reports and do video timelines. I write all my projects and notes on my PSP because it's easier to carry around than my laptop and plus I can study them anywhere as the information is in my pocket. At work I use it to keep appointments and do economic charts to keep track of my paychecks or hours spent at work. Personally I don't think I've used my PSP as a gaming machine as much as it was meant for. Don't get me wrong, I do play games on it, Bleach Heat the Soul 5 and Rengoku Tower of Purgatory being my favorites.

I also use it for a multimedia player but it's main purpose for me is the PDA functionality. If you could use "Notepad for PSP" on some of the other firmwares or the PSP Go, then I might consider the upgrade but at the moment I need to stick back with the older firmware and my Slimline PSP until the application can be updated. As for using Photofast, well for me at the time it was cheaper to just buy Micro SD cards than the Memory Stick Pro Duo ones. I suppose the price might have gone down on the others so I might want to invest in them but honestly I don't see the need as I don't mind the speed issues and I do have a bunch of Micro's lying around because of my camera.

I have been thinking of installing this on my PSP Go, I know there is a "Skip Gameboot" option but personally I like to see a gameboot screen and with this at least you can see a short version of it. I know it seems ridiculous but it's just one of those quirky things I like.
