when editing this file it's completely safe no matter what you do actually...

if you break the file so that it makes the system freeze, just hold down the power button to boot using default settings and use a composite cable to connect to tv
using 512 or 720 videomodes will not use the 1080.txt and therefore it doesn't freeze up.
then just restore the working 1080.txt back to flash and continue....

On that matter.. i can't afford to brick any ps3's either, but no pain, no gain..
someone has to test the things out or nothing wil lever get done.

That's clevar :) but i still need a 360 hack,..

also i know whot you mean,. its how i got 5 PSP's lol (actually,.. i gave away 1 PSP-1000 now) testing new cfw's and upgrading theme's,. etc etc

anyway,.. again,..your PS3 XMB starting to look awesome Madwin

mugi, can't you use that USB FW mounter. I don't remember the name. It redirects the flash to the USB. I'm not sure it was ever made for 3.55 though.

i don't think it was, and even if it did, i don't trust it.
emulating flash from an external drive isn't going to be reliable.

what comes to space, modifiactions and whatnot, the ps3 is even more picky than psp is..
you can't use anything aside 32bit png's, and you can't even seem to be able to change the size of objects too much without them breaking...

You should try put in some animation's! did you see any in rco's?? animtree's?? for infobars or infobar fadeout's?? there should be some you could easily tweak??

Dang, makes want to save up for a ps3. But I'm cheap. Hahaha
