I say NO,

wee aren't really losing anything except a week (so far) of online gaming.
there servers were hacked & there only choice was to take it down until it's fixed.
hell entering in any information online is taking a risk, that's including paypal & online banking.
also I'm sure rebuilding the PSN is a tedious task...

Playstation Plus users are missing out on what exactly?
there not really missing out on anything by not being able to sign on (like the rest of us)
it's not like theres any new free games for them to download & the ones that are up you can still get when it's back up.
even so Sony will still probably extend there subscription for how many days it's down (possibly more)

If anyone got there credit card 'borrowed' & used then obviously should be compensated.
other then that no one deserves nothing...

This.  For the sake of PR.
Probably won't "pay for the damages", but by giving something, anything really, away for free, perhaps for a limited time, at least shows the company has some care for its customers.

yea, kindda looking forward to it.
but again, when xbox360 was down ages ago, they gave away a trashy game that err some people said it's better to give nothing.
so here i am, hoping for a few choices at least xD
