GFX card help...
Whoohoo EP^^
It's me again with my heat issues.... while I finally managed to keep my CPU cool, this time it's my Graphics card who is getting loud...
It's a XFX 5770 and looks like this:
I cleaned it as much as possible from the outside but it still idles at around 75°C with 55% fan speed, which is still at acceptable noise levels for me, however as soon as I open Firefox 4.0 with hardware acceleration it rises to 82°C with 60% which sounds utterly annoying. I confirmed it's not a Firefox issue as this started a few days ago and I reverted back to a 2 week old build, still the same. Plus I'm sure when I got it in May/Juny it idled at 55-60°C
So yeah I wanted to ask, has anyone experience with removing the plastic housing? I don't want to remove the entire fan if possible as I... well lets say I have a few bad experiences with applying thermal grease myself... Just removing the plastic housing for cleaning would be enough.
I looked at the bottom of the card and there are quite a few screws I just don't know if I can remove them all without making the GPU loose as it's attached to a clamp.
Thanks for any help in advance!

RE: GFX card help...
Do you live in a dusty place?
Because 5770 is probably at most a year old, and there shouldn't be much dust build up during then. Or maybe your case lets lots of air through, increasing the amount of dust you get...
But saying it's a dust problem sounds a bit odd for such a new card.
