ISO Tool v1.81
[Image: ISO_Tool.png]

Changelog Wrote:Version 1.81:
  • [BUG] If you have not already EBOOT.OLD modified EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.OLD like to skip the conversion to
  • [BUG] Fixed failed to write to a file that already exists
Version 1.80:
  • [BUG] Prometheus had been BOOT.BIN on use of space available, it was not intended to be run out of this area. When large files are added, ISO adjusted the data to the end of the range
  • [NEW] With the above, separate files for further processing
  • [NEW] so much more additional files, Prometheus temporarily removed from the recovery menu. Like you can use again after you decided how to save and update history
  • [NEW] Prometheus_ME631 support

RE: ISO Tool v1.81
Apparently v1.81 doesn't come bundled with Prometheus ME631... I found out almost a week later, lol.

While God of War - Ghost of Sparta DOES work with Prometheus 0.5 (which can be found in earlier versions of ISO Tool and also in 5.XX Prome-2, if I'm not mistaken), using ME631 I can see an obvious improvement on 5.00 M33-6.

Side note: some users have reported sluggish movies (such as the intro movie, etc) on 5.50 GEN-D3 and by looking at ME631, it comes with a lot more files than previous versions (mpeg.prx, libmp4.prx, etc) so that could explain it. The suggested action would be to use ME631 which, IMO, is definitely better than 0.5. At least for this particular game. Better framerates too.

You can either get Prometheus ME631 and dump the contents in the '/DATA/prometheus/ME631' folder, or get it from the attachement bellow.

I also took the liberty of changing the XMB title into something more visually appealing ("ISO Tool 1.81 + Prometheus ME631"), which, of course you can change it yourself using PSP Brew 0.91 if you want a more DIY approach. Just don't rename the folder that way. If it's too long the PSP will see it as corrupt. Keep it short.

Install notes: Copy the "ISO Tool 1.81 + ME631" folder in "X:\PSP\Game" and run it from the XMB.

Usage: Select the game, EBOOT decrypt, No, Yes, Yes. Select the game, "Patch.", Patch Prometheus, ME631. Done.

this is so true. when I've patched God Of War with prometheus 0.5 the game lag like hell. after that I've patched with Me631 and game works like a charm
