Also, aren't you unable to connect to PSN if you're jailbroken? Why have the trophies then?

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of a Hacked PS3.

Advantages:
1: Custom Themes.
2: Playing Game backups.
3: Homebrew Apps.
4: Emulators.
5: Plugins.

Disadvantages:
1: Pirated Games.
2: Hackers in Online Games.
3: Hacked Trophies.
4: Getting so hooked with free games you lose interest in games and they become worthless.
5: Possibility of getting your Mac-Address eXx1l3d.

kinda useless though, on two counts:

you don't work for them, so they're worthless.
you can't go online, so there's noone to brag to, which is (let's face it) what trophies are all about.

This is why I hope you can never sign in with a hacked ps3... cheaters online.
It sucks for people who aren't cheaters, but if this happens the PSN will be ruined.

Honestly I think it will be hard to ever sign in with a hacked ps3, sure somebody will eventually bypass the firmware check but Sony will catch on and ban everyone using it.
The only safe option is to have 2 ps3's...
That's why I updated my slim ps3 & my fat ps3 with a broken BR Drive is gonna be for emulators & homebrew.
Hope emulators happen soon cause backing up games on my broken fat ps3 helps me none Emptyone
