Psardumper for Firmware 6.30 released
[Image: 28f0ec506644.png]
coyotebean updated Psardumper.
Now Psardumper works with Firmware 6.30 Madwin

Quote:A minor update to understand files tables of 6.30
- 100X/200X/300X: new tables for 07g and 09g
- go: uses the same table key as 100X/200X/300X
No 6.30 keys are added, files from 6.30 can only be extracted in encrypted form.
Also I have just updated the source code and compile, the program has not been tested Hoho

Source : lan.st

Download Madwin

Sorry for the unrelated post but I got to say - I had no idea lan.st was still around o.o

Having checked it out it looks like the Utopia project has mostly been abandoned :(

RE: Psardumper for Firmware 6.30 released
I'm sorry to be a rather trollan here, but seriously what is the POINT to this. I know it would a great learning experience for some devs to see how a commercial product works, but there will be no implementation or changes to any of the .prx files people want to play around with. That's because there is no CFW/enviroment that allows you to even see the changes you -might- make with your obtained prx's; which is, in itself really pointless in my opinion.

Of course i do not understand, so i'd rather wait for someone to answer me on this. :P

i suppose its just the potential in it all, being able to see what's inside may lead to more exploits/learning how to get the latest games working etc

Having a key to the safe doesn't mean you can get into the safety deposit box, but it sure helps.

RE: Psardumper for Firmware 6.30 released
^ That's a bit inaccurate in a number of places, eg:

Code:
opening_plugin.prx - (3.5X+) Coldboot Sound

is certainly a lot more than just a coldboot sound.

Otherwise, can't really help you with what everything does - your intuition, based on the filenames, is probably your best bet for now.
