so ive been having some issues with psn lover mainly that error that pops up every time you try to download something. I have finally figured it out though. PSN lover works yes, but only to a certain extent.

With little big planet for example you can download game add-ons like costumes and level packs psnlover will download them sure but the error it gets before it trys to download it is that i can't download the license key. All game add-ons are already usually on the umd or for little big planet already in the update.

Your not really downloading new content rather you are downloading a license key to active or give permission to use what you already have. In little big planets case, downloading any new content will not work. I first came across this issue with Gran Turismo, i had just downloaded 5 free cars for it and i must have formatted my mem stick clean at some point in time for some reason. When i downloaded the cars again with psn lover and launched Gran Turismo it wouldn't allow me to use the cars and said the data was corrupt. I have over come this problem however by changing my second psp to OFW and downloading everything again to my memory stick. Because its ofw the license keys downloaded with no troubles.

My point in all this is this: when psnlover 1.1 beta first came out this wasn't an issue. Something has changed, maybe and update to the psn server or something that has blocked cfw psps from obtaining license keys for anything when downloading.


From what i can tell the in game online side of it all is still fine. I can get into games fine and play online with my account. Although i did have a bit of trouble at some point where i was constantly getting rejected from resistance retribution server when my other psp running ofw could get in fine.

this concludes my rant.

id like to hear from anyone with similar problems or any other problems in general.
