By the way, as I like to keep templates consistent across themes, it would be preferred if there are no HTML edits, but if you feel that it's required, feel free to go ahead :)
If you want behavioural changes, I can also write plugins to do this.

i would think picking a color for ep would be the hardest part because mybb themes really are almost all the same.
When i think of EP this banner always comes up so i would go by this:
