The same kinda thing happened to my friend's PC, he bought a new graphics card but when he replaced the old one the monitor wouldn't work anymore. He couldn't figure it out, so he put the old graphic's card back and the monitor worked again. I know this isn't helpful but he found out that the card just had a random flaw and wouldn't work for some reason.

RE: Halp please
i have a 700W supply, i havent broken it because the fan spins up... i need to get a case speaker off of my old PC at my dad's house and plug it in to see if anything happens.

there is also an issue, if the BIOS is out of date the stepping on this CPU is not compatible with it, making the CPU incompatible. would that lead to a complete failure to boot?

RE: Halp please - New Build Won't Boot
there actualy seem to be a quite a few horror stories of people with your board quite similar

Have you attempted to RMA it and see if you can get a different one, since changing the BIOS chip will invalidate the warranty
