Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Picked this up on Friday (the day after tracking down a 360)

Liking the game but not liking the amount of crashes I'm suffering. It's locking up about once every 45 mins/hour with a "this disc cannot be read" problem.

I popped the disc out and there appear to be small marks on the disc, nothing like the ring of death you get if you tilt the console - but enough to set me thinking.

With the console being so new I wonder if I have dodgy hardware or if this is a game-related issue.

Anyone care to share their experiences, so I can decide if I need to return my console?

Don't know about the 360 version... but the PC version is buggy as hell.

i had a few freezes on my 360 but not to the extreme your talking...

Could be a dodgy disk. Return it and tell them its not working, get a new copy

IT will freeze, that's just a fact of bad coding, but not that frequently

the game is unstable to say the least, but it shouldn't be happening that often.
It WILL freeze/crash on you, just not to the extent of your problem, returning it would be the best option

ps3 version works fine.
