I think what wee need first is a Glossary of the words that have special functions in the XML. I think it is pretty self explanatory as in structure and how the trees refer back to each other. I think its just what words mean and how they function is most important.

I might put up a bit of a guide on animation.
As for documentation, I think what would be needed would be descriptions of each tag, though most of them don't need much information (ie <Image>, <Sound>, <Model> etc).  The main complex part is the Object section.  Anim isn't that complex once you get it (hopefully my guide will solve that).
Problem with the Object section is that there are many unknowns right now.
I'll try to think up something later.

Would anyone be willing to try and figure out what some of these unknowns are?  As an example, look for a <Text> object - you'll notice that I've replaced some "unknowns" with names, such as "topRed".
