Yes i agree with you.But what about a new cxmb that loads and the kd folder. :)

The REAL way to be testing this is to make your pandora battery and start flashing 5.55 files...but again, im pretty sure its the KD folder that is the bugger here :(
Yes it is the kd folder.
Wee must check the files. => too many bricks,too many downgrades/upgrades. :)
i have no programming knowlege :( but cxmb is unloaded before the game starts so it would have to be a game mode plugin that would do that.

there is only a difference in the version number as far as I know

you can also load cxmb in game, but it would rather kill your gaming speed

That really sucks. Madden is coming and I want to play it so bad. The best thing I can do atm is pray so it comes with 5.50, right?

Yeah hope someone finds a fix soon, I can almost guarantee any new game coming out will require 5.55 :(

Meh, I don't have a PS3. I have a Wii that can only read games older than November 2008 due to firmware reasons, though.
