DCEmu has reported that G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra UMD Includes & Requires PSP Firmware 5.55.  

I have also tried to launch it as .cso on 5.50 GEN cfw - no go...
When you try to launch it, you get a

Quote:The game could not be started.  
(80020148)

Hope someone manages to create a patch to bypass this soon.    Sadist

hmmm Shizzy did you try changing iso drivers? (SONYNP9660 might work)

haven't tried it yet, but might some of the up-coming new games will require newer firmwares, hope that gran turismo or dissidia won't be suffering like this.

i try shifting m33 driver to another still no luck.

dam......this is bad i agree with Nothingface420 wee better find a way past this... to many good games coming out, Dissida being the one im waiting for, and Gran Trismo! ive been waiting years for it to be on PSP i hope they don't make it do this firmware check thing too. Grrrrrrr sony your starting  to annoy me......
