So to cut to the chase, i basically have a huge amount of .mp3's that i want to start using cover flow with (ipod). Unfortunately most of my songs weren't obtained from itunes so getting the album artwork for them and the correct sorting is being a huge pain atm.

So, does anybody know of a program that can automatically find the CORRECT song ID3 tags for your .mp3's and apply them? that way i can use the itunes to get album artwork and genius playlists to work correctly

if anybody has anything to share, thanks a lot ;)

My wife found http://www.art4itunes.com/ quite useful.  Looks like there's problems with iTunes 8.1 though (if you've updated).

Just select the album you want to fix up, right click, then "Auto-tag from Web"

Then you can select which title it is if it detected the wrong one, you can even try a different query, then select what you want, like the Cover, Name Tags, etc. then click Auto-Tag, wait, and carry on.

Its the best option out there.
