I would say get tales of vesperia, but as before you have a pal ver so that's checked off :P

Umm, you can get SC4,GOW 1-2,Eternal Sonata, FF (when it comes out), fable 2, COD games, and halo 3

personally i never like to have people mod my consoles because

a) you learn a lot from doing it youreself
b) you can always fix something if a mod goes wrong

and by the way sky, the firmware gets updated monthly so you probably have to take it back to the guy to get the latest update

I have Eternal Sonata (hey it's Anime^^) and Fable 2 original.

I guess you're right Tetris but hey a friend broke an 360 while opening it so I'm a little bit scared and about the updates, do I need them to play new games or are they just for LIVE safety?

im a 16 year old and i tore apart my 360 almost, didn't break at all.

what did he do, hit it with a sledge hammer? seriously you can't break it unless you have NO idea what your doing; its perfectly safe.

also about the updates; im not sure, i know the updates are used for live safety; but they could also have game patches that override the new game protection that games get every now and then.

I see, so I'm bound to try it myself someday.... I don't really know what he did he just told me the white case wouldn't come off so he pulled a bit harder and then it got a crack it worked still afterwards so broke is half right....^^'
On a side note what do I do with .dvd files that come along with the .iso?
Oh and what's better, DVD-DL or +DL?

no offense to your friend or anything, but hes pretty stupid Ahhyes

. Doesn't he know the number 1 rule of "if it doesn't come off easy, don't force it"

personally i have no idea, i just burnt the .iso but something is telling me that i shouldn't have; ill report back to you when i get mine modded and everything and i try the back up (so you don't waste a dvd of your own).

DVD-DL is a no no DO NOT GET, it won't work. DVD+DL is the way to go; and also make sure its verbatim and its manufactured in singapore. They're supposedly the best quality of discs you can get. Personally i couldn't afford such media though (54$ for a 20 pack, that's a lot for blank media....) so i went and bought cheap HP discs for 15$

as said before, ill tell you if my backup works with the crappy media (its obviously crappy, it was 15$)

I told my friend the same so yea.... I'll just give it a go if I need to, I mean it can't be harder then building PCs^^

As for the .dvd files, I'll research a bit and tell you my findings too.

And okay, me will get +DL but dunno what brand yet because as you said Verbatim a expensive...

Sorry for double post, well my 360 is now flashed with iXtreme 1.4 I think? and that guy even found out that it already has the new heatsink and it has HDMI so I assume it's the Falcon Motherboard? My burner is right now burning on a Verbatim +DL and I simply selected the .dvd file in ImgBurn and it seems to burn fine will post back results.

Hmm.... updating won't be that easy for myself, the guy who did it for me soldered a chip or something that was needed to flash my drive, after flashing he desoldered it again.... anyways I'm happy, Mirrors Edge works^^
