So I decided to try Windows Vista out on my Macbook Pro's BootCamp partition, as I needed to make it bigger anyway. So I torrented a copy, got the activator, etc, and installed it. After the 25 minute install, which was actually a lot faster than my previous XP install, I tweaked the settings to my liking, and started poking around. To be perfectly honest, most of the Vista hate is a load of bullshit by people who have probably never used it before. I mean, it may be a much more top-heavy OS, but I find it almost as fast as my clean OS X install.

I dunno, maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm using a clean install on a newly formatted partition, while all the haters used a bad upgrade or something. Regardless, I think Vista is going to be chilling on my Windows partition until Windows 7 comes out, which probably won't be for a while lol.

im running Vista64. i have few issues that hates vista a little:
- takes huge amount of HDD on installation (>20GB)
- can not drap & drop to command prompt. (or tell me how!?!)
- driver signature is much tighten than XP..
- some progs cannot run on Vista such my mail client Novell GW 6.5
- slow response sometime for x86 programming such as FireFox..(gonna to test a x64 version)..

actually, i like Vista more due to it's visual...

Ah, see, I'm using the x86 version (all Mac laptops support 32 bit better apparently)

And Rikku, I don't use Windows often enough, or when I do, I'm not an idiot, so I don't get viruses.
