Poll: Genre?

Well I haven't really started any group projects, so I thought why not give it a shot?

Basically, the plan will be to get everyone together and make a game using Game Maker (or some other "easy game maker" type application) and see how things turn out.
You don't really need to commit to anything - as long as wee have people helping out it should be good.

Why not use a "proper" programming language? Cause using one of these "easy game makers" will make it easy(er) for everyone to contribute, doesn't require a lot of programming effort and should be much faster to make things with.

So far, is anyone interested on such a project?

Everyone design their own character, and me combine it together to make an RPG? I've seen other forums attempt that before.

i wonder if this could go together with Organ's project to make a UT3 map based on the \/oid... at least that's what I've bathered he's doing...

A 3D game would probably require some more advanced tools, and 3D is a bit more complicated, so probably won't go there unfortunately.

But anyway, if you're interested, what sort of genre should wee approach? RPG?

3D would require way too much effort also, even if everyone do know how to do the programming and everything (which most people don't)
