Need help to solve this problem,

I'm upgrading my fw to 3.40 OEA from 3.03 OEC using one of the Easy Installer, the installation was succesful.
Then I tried to messing with my XMB, I did everything what a guide told me to do, freeing some space, etc, even copied a full flash0 directory from someone's PSP, but the result always the same, everytime I exit the recovery mode, the PSP went blank and switch off on its own.

Any idea what to do here?

mmzzzz..... it does this after u tried to customize your PSP right???
or did that right after u jumped onto 3.40OE?

After I copied the the topmenu to flash0/vsh/resource, I toggle USB, exit the advance menu, exit the recovery menu. And then PSP went blank.
After the installation (with original topmenu) the PSP works just fine.

did you convert the topmenu? because 3.03 topmenu are different to 3.30/3.40 topmenu's

I didn't do converting, I just copy somebody with the same firmware's topmenu...

=.= i got a feeling u put a 3.03 topmenu onto the wrong firmwire

try to use a original topmenu from 340, if it is still crashed, u have to re-flash the 340OE to recover

I had the very same problem with 3.40OE-A when I first installed it, but FEAR NOT my good friend...  I changed my Fake Region under the Recovery Menu Configuration to America and "badaboom"! Custom Topmenu!!!  Let me know how you get on...

Hmm, I'm putting everything back to original flash0 (I backed it up before I messed up).
Everything is ok, just can't find the answer why can't I customize the topmenu.

Crazyenglish, I also tried to change the fake regio to America, still the same, sigh...

Any other idea, Guys?

Is it your recovery or topmenu that you have the prob with.
