Sad infrastructure mode fcukd
back when i was on 3.03 OE-C, i used "NetConfig Backup" by 'Noobz' so it saved my internet connections. now just yesterday when i upgraded to 3.10 OE-A', i ran the program again but used the restore function instead (because i was too lazy to enter my long WEP key .etc again).
it was successful but then when i went to Network Settings/Infrastructure Mode, it comes up with the error, "An Internal Error has occurred. (80082710)" and returns to the Network Setting menu.

i think i found where the program extracts the Network Connections to, its in: flash1/registry/system.dreg. i opened it with a Hex Editor and it shows all my connections and the IP address, SSID, Connection name etc (minus the WEP key) anyway, to fix it, i think i should just delete the connections etc but i don't know if it has to have a certain amount of lines in the .dreg (meaning i have to replace the connections with those square character things), or if i just delete them?

by the way: that internet connection is a one i 'borrowed' from next door but it has 0.0.0.0 because the day after they put on a WPA/TKP (what ever its called) so it just is a useless connection (which is why i showed it, i didn't want to show the info for my home's connection lol)

one more thing: with this hex editor, the square things that are 00 in other hex editors, comes up as full-stops (.)

RE: infrastructure mode stuffed-up
I think the registry changed in 3.10, which is probably why the app doesn't work anymore.  Never looked at the registry files with a hex editor though.

RE: infrastructure mode stuffed-up
so what should i do so i can use the internet? or would it work if i got somone elses, who is on 3.10 OE-A' or should i just reflash 3.10 OE-A?
if i did reflash 3.10 OE-A (without the '), would it work just by flashing it as if i was on another 3.xxOE, or should i downgrade to 1.50 first?

RE: infrastructure mode fcukd
one final thing lol: when you upgrade, does it actually write to flash1? because if it doesn't, then there is no point. i sort of have 2 choices then,

1: Re-flash 3.10 OE-A, hoping it fixes the problem or,
2: Use my sister's 3.03 OE-C psp and upgrade it to 3.10 OE-A, and copy her system.dreg

what do u guys think? 1 or 2

RE: infrastructure mode fcukd
UPDATE: i just flashed 3.10 OE-A again but it didn't fix the problem, obviously the flash1 was left untouched. my sister really doesn't want to upgrade so I'll have to opt for another solution.

i have an idea: do u guys reckon i should downgrade to 1.50 using the recovery menu so that he registry will probably change (the BSOD will come up), then upgrade back up to 3.10 OE-A' ???
