I spent the day deciding that I was FINALLY going to buy a PSP Slim Deep Red.

I have wanted one for ages. It looks absolutely awesome, the color is just the perfect shade of red and I might as well get a slim then, cause I wanted to get rid of my (then rare) white PSP, which was way too mainstream.



I said farewell to my trusty white PSP that had never bricked and was always there for me, I still had the receipt. It was more than two years ago or something, and that was already my fourth PSP.

I went and made a pretty sweet deal on the slim. I went from shop to shop, still only about 20 shops had it but only one had the core pack, which was 20 euros cheaper. I ended up buying the soft case and strap from the same dude for only 3 euro's more, though :P. I got the Value Pack, 4GB Sandisk card, Downgrade and Screen Protector for a grand total of 176 euro, an amount I didnt really want to spend but it was worth it!

So here I am, on the ferry home, unboxing it. My first reaction as I insert the battery is. O. M. G.

I HATE IT.

ITS AWFUL.

WHAT DID THEY DO TO THE PSP!!!???

The back is completely FLAT. The whole thing is made of glossy, crappy, cheap, smooth, fingerprinty plastic. It weighs about as much as a cheap ass playstation controller.

They didnt fix ANY of the major flaws in the design, like the hold button or the USB charging thing, instead they made it worse. WHY do I flick the Wifi button when I try to open the UMD?

It doesn't even look cool. The pics are WAY cooler.

Though, I don't care. Why? I paid 146 euro's if you take off the 4Gb, and ppl are selling it for 200-250 euros. So that's what Im doing.

I'm only still using a Phat Black because I don't need to waste my money on a slim.

don't get me wrong i still the Phat psp,.. psp slim got more feature's and to me the phat now looks like a brick,.
