Yeah the team recommends if I recall correctly to use 6.XX PRO-C and make sure to set the ISO Driver to Inferno.
6.60 ME can play it but blackscreen on some parts.

And how long was that? They have made improvements you know :3
The team recommends using it.

The team recommends doing it.
Yeah I don't think that's correct at all.
I can get Type 0 to get all the way to the menus on the Sony Driver on 6.39ME and 6.60ME but it blacksreens when you try to start a new game.
No other ISO drivers work for Type 0 on these firmwares.
I tried 6.60PRO-C with Inferno as suggested and it works great. Inferno is the only driver that reads and addresses ISOs bigger that 2GB from what I read.
So yeah that was the solution. Bit of a bummer because my 2000 is far too set up with 6.39ME to make the switch. So im dual booting 6.60ME lite and 6.60PRO-C on my PSPgo instead.
Works great! Easily one of the most graphically impressive PSP games of its time too.

Need to run PRO-C2. This fixes the blackscreen issue, and make sure you enable the MS Speedup option in reovery. Set your clock speeds to 333/166 as well. Runs flawlessly on my 2000 with 6.60 PRO-C2. Anyone tried PRO's online plugin yet? Might be fun to get some multiplayer sessions in.

Yes you are correct! I thought it had frozen, but on 6.39ME and 6.60ME using the Sony driver you can run the game fine. Just the in-game cutscenes do not load, but if you press start or X you can still skip them. Game plays fine now!

Yeah I was running 6.60PRO-C2 on my PSPgo and that ran perfectly fine using the Inferno drive.
Not sure about the online plugin, I thought it was questionable how well it ran. But I looked into it ages ago.

but still it sucks if you play it like that, you won't see the movies also if you would like to know the story.. like i do.
meanwhile im trying to make those videos suffer from downsampling so i can try to fit into 1.5gb but no go due to can't extract eeror.
