Dual Boot Via Chimera to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Motherboard - b75m-d3h     99% working [ USB 3.0 not working on 1155 chipset boards]
Intel Core i7 2600k     100% working
Ati Readon HD6700 - Patched as HD5000    100% working
Dlink Wireless N150 USB     100% working
Bluetooth Adapter USB     100% working

Plans for things i hope to add next or build next
Get a better Motherboard And overclock my cpu to 4.5/5.0GHz And Watercool the cpu directly
Upgrade my Graphics card to 2x GeForce GTX 680's with crossfire between them.

Hopefull even pick up an old Mac Pro Housing and Mount the motherboard inside. looks a bit bad. But its been done and looks great.

RE: Hackintosh Progress [First Build]
Did you patch the ATI KEXT?  Really wish I knew how (other than by editing the info.plist file). The Radeon 6520 is the only thing keeping me from running a perfect OSx86 install.

Yeah...I really didn't feel like editing the Chimera source for it. :\ You got a link? Might do it later when I can bring myself to do it.

RE: Hackintosh Progress [First Build]
Very nice. I've considered going back to a dual-boot, but a very infrequently need Mac or get bored of Windows enough, especially now that I'm using 8. I just VMWare it now.

Might go back one day. Have no clue how it will like my new hardware though.

RE: Hackintosh Progress [First Build]
I see.  But to what extent is it reliant on it - eg bottlenecks?

Might want to be sure it's supported: http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffec...specs.html
Quadro cards are generally better for content creation, from my understanding (but then, they're a significant price premium so may not be worth it).  Does SLI work with it?
