Not really.

And it's the stuff that this 'almost everything' doesn't cover, that I'm talking about.
Sure, if you went all out trying to 'be smart', I'm sure you'll be highly successful.  After all, most people can't be stuffed doing such a thing.
But of course, there's often a reason why very few can be bothered.

Well generally you need to work your way up from a normal position.  You don't like, one day decide you want to be higher level management, and jump to it.  And working your way up requires you to be good at something (or alternatively, what we're talking, be good at convincing people you're good at something).

Experience in running a multi-million dollar company for 10 years?  Sure, done that.
Note: requires a good friend running a successful business willing to make stuff up for you.

At that level they will do extensive background checks and profiling on you.  You won't simply be able to lie your way through it.

But about lying your way through shit, my brother's like pretty good at that.  He got internship at PwC through pretty much pure bullshit (and his really expensive as fuck suit).  But internship is like bottom tier and there's like 9001 people applying so they can't be bothered checking anything I guess.  Executive positions on the other hand, I'm very much certain they will check.

That's where your trusty friend and BSing skills come in.
Still failed?  Well now you actually have experience in what they check for.  Keep trying and you'll succeed.

You need to have like 20 good friends for that.  Because you aren't going to get an executive job with just one example of a past job and one referee.

BSing skills mainly come in during the interview.  The checks will be before that.

Also, happy birthday I guess.  Bitches in the US wouldn't have noticed yet because it's still yesterday for them I guess.
