Well, if you force a child to bear children against their will, then that's worse than the child being gay. I don't want children because I know that I'd make a terrible father and that's my choice. My parents should respect it.
I agree, I would see why a parent like that would be at least upset about it though. But indeed, you shouldn't make someone do something they don't want to, it ends up very badly.
Totally forgot you were a mod, so you're able to see my deleted post, trashed it because it didn't get the message across in the right manner... or I just didn't delete it fast enough.

Totally. If you are a loving parent, you should accept what your daughter/son chooses and you should always be there by their side, guide them on their way and just respect what they have chosen. I guess, in the end it's still our choice, and wee have our own lives. Wee should just do what wee feel is right for us.

RE: My 2 cents on homosexuality
I still don't believe I "chose" to be gay. No one chooses to be hated, and looked down upon. If that were the case, people would stop being gay :/

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've seen around here. And god knows there's been some dumb spoon.
I know a few gay people. I know the spoon they deal with in their lives just being who they are. If it was a choice, why would anyone choose to put themselves through it. I don't remember ever making a conscious decision to be straight. I just remember going to school one day, seeing someone not my gender and thinking "Yummy".

I dunno I think people have a choice in what they want. One time I saw a girl go lesbianz because her man always abused her and her child. she found comfort and love in the gentle kindness in girlz
