I got a copy of it...
I heard it wipes your laptop clean and im afraid to try with mine.
I did try dual booting but then i got scared because it started to mess around with something called a kernel and since i don't know much other than it bein important i turned off the power. it took me about 4HOURS with Utorrent to get it so i feel like its a waste to not even share.
but since i want to respect the rulez is chrome os free?
i know wee have a no piracy thing here but google never said it cost anything.
this is wat it is V
slushba thinks its cool so here it is:

I looked into the android os a while ago. you can get a live cd from google and boot from it for free to sample android before you use it on your phone.
Never looked into chrome OS, but it's probably free just like android and most google products. afterall google wants to take over the world, why would they make people pay for it?
might try it, seems interesting
but I still need itunes n stuff lol because my web browser isn't the only function I need.
I like the idea of focus your OS around a web browser, but I still want the function of a normal OS in the background

It looks cool, but everything runs online. There are no applications, which scares me off Chrome OS. But if you have a netbook that will always be connected, go ahead!

mine is always online,, but with 512 kbps connection it doesn't sound promising
The online aspect bothers me as well...
I like having all my pirated spoon on my physical drive
and like I said
I have itunes protected DRM music that MUST be played with itunes
it was one of the biggest things that drove me off the linux platform was no itunes support
