Sometimes, it's quite normal (and sometimes hillarious when wee witness it) for our bodies to build up stress when wee get frustrated over a video game because the player simply cannot win it. As stress builds up, the temptation to throw whatever may be in the player's hand begins to rise and eventually to actually throw and slam their controllers or portable devices. PC gamers may throw their keyboards or smash the keys as hard as they can with their hands.

Somy decided that the MGD should be made out of a new material that was recently discovered, known as Somytinum. By construsting the shell and some inner components out of this material. Consumers can freely throw their MGDs out of fury without breaking it along with being able to play it underwater. Somy mentions this also fixes a few other potential causes of damage of most portable devices.

Years ago, Sony created the PSP, in the terms of warrenty section of the manual, it mentions the PSP could not be replaced if acts of God should damage it. With Somytinum, the MGD is now deity proof.
