ISO2EBOOT & EBOOT2ISO
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been getting questions about how to convert ISO's to EBOOTs and EBOOT's to ISOs. (Compress ISO's to CSOs with UMDGEN, for a uber compression.) So I will upload the tools I use. I did not make these, but I was so tired the night I got them I forgot who made them. If anybody knows who made them I will put up some credits.

ISO2EBOOT & EBOOT2ISO Download

So far I got Cave Story and Powder115 converted from EBOOT to ISO.

Also you can comment people, I don't need REP, and I am not going to take your PSP's away.

RE: ISO2EBOOT & EBOOT2ISO

Oh ya you got it. Specky EBOOT's converted to a .cso plus the new inferno driver make the games small (cso) and fast (Inferno).

RE: ISO2EBOOT & EBOOT2ISO
It doesn't. Sadist I mostly convert games that I don't want to save on cause I play it for fun.

JellyCar, Powder, Cave Story, Lord Runner, ect.

RE: ISO2EBOOT & EBOOT2ISO
Not many EBOOTs are worth the effort to compress them - at all. PSX games already have compression built-in.

Emulators... nah. ROMs usually take up the bulk of space and some emulators can read them in ZIP format.

The few homebrew games [that are good] probably take up under 50 MB or so. So unless you have a 512 MB memory stick, I fail to see a good reason for compression.

Making EBOOTs smaller in size. Also if your ISO doesn't run on the newer firmwares you can turn it into a signed EBOOT and run it. See?

RE: ISO2EBOOT & EBOOT2ISO
I guess this is just what I needed. At least trying to convert newer demos to ISO then patching it up for GEN-D3/Prome users like me, then it's a need. ;)
