They've yet to change it on the product page, but I guess I don't have anything to worry about now so ~~ yay~! Got to start saving xD
Edit: They do things a bit different at Amiami, you don't put in any payment details till they have the product in the warehouse instead of putting in details and paying immediately when it's in the warehouse - this will give me a bit of assurance I won't miss out if I do have the money and can bail out if I don't. And for that reason, I've made my reservation. Yay!
Edit2: "Your order item BD Kara no Kyokai the Movie BD-BOX (Blu-ray Disc) is a high-price special order item and wee would like to have its merchandise price pre-paid."
>> Well that defeats the whole damn point. Back to saving up I guess :[

kung FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU....
Dammit, I should've been on #Darkhold yesterday. Would be amusing to see TheFluff raging his donkey off, he actually bought the BD Box.

That doesn't look good.
I ended up not pre-ordering because of worries regarding region lock as it was being indicated in a couple of stores - glad I didn't.
Also, what a total shame ;_;
What good reason could they have not to do it properly?

Don't know, save money? (upscale is probably a lot cheaper than doing it properly) Or maybe they lack the technical expertise to do it properly (that is, they're too dumb to know how hard they're screwing up).
Ok, they're really pissing me off. Taking fucking ages getting it out, and in the end, it looks like shit...

Wait, would he still encode us the stuff then? At least the epilogue.
Would look crappy in 1080, but still probably looks alright in 720p (better than the DVDs at least).

Seems like he will.
720p, which is what I expected, since only a retard will encode this at 1080p (even worse, there are people who encoded AIR in 1080p....)
Usually I'm against filtering bluray sources (well, anything more than very light filtering), but this stuff isn't like the best bluray in history (read: it's shit), and being one of the pioneering encoders in fansubbing (lol), he surely knows what he's doing.
