I think they destroyed a fair bit of potential with a few things in that show.
It would've been better if that little girl didn't actually start seriously liking the guy IMO.
Ending could use some improvement too.
Overall, enjoyable IMO.

I think she works better as the flirting precocious little brat that pulls random jabs.

Does this happen in the last two episodes? Because what I've seen of her, she doesn't seem like anything more than a "flirting precocious little brat that pulls random jabs."

She made out that she "liked" him a lot when she was being looked after but she was just craving love which she eventually found in her new mum who she didn't get along with.

Yeah basically that.  If I recall correctly around episode 6 - I don't think they should've developed the character in that way.

Ah right. Yeah, it was a bit much.. not a major detractor though.

Saw Winter Sonata 04 last night, for four episodes it's packed in some rather good romance and a twist already .... can't wait to see more

Re-started Aria the Natural which I stalled quite a long time ago... and loving every bit of it.


Gives a good perspective on the range of creativity that can be exploited... and how that happens only rarely.

toooooootally figured out the twist in Winter Sonata while my sister refused to believe it till last nights ep when the facts became  (pretty much) definitive.

It'll be interesting how it plays out - wee'll be trying to see 'em two at a time now that Frostii & Live-eviL have finished it.. putting ef melodies on hold.

Also ordered some calendars as wee started seeing some were getting sold out.. so me and my sister got Arakawa and Kobato ones respectively, and free international shipping with YesAsia as well - bargain considering EMS delivery with CDJapan was €70~!
