Moving themes?
Hello guys! I decided to join here cause I'm having problems editing my psp theme
I run on a Gen d3 firmware and all i want is that my background is like a powerpoint slideshow of pictures.. you know, where series of pictures are shown every a 5 seconds interval or something like that.. is that possible? i extracted one theme named "win" (theme with windows XP inspiration in it, like a true desktop..) using patpat's ctf tool.. now I just want to change the background to a slideshow-like one and retain all the icons, gameboots and other things,.. can some one help me? thanks! I hope Mr. Vegetano or Zinga burga responds to my queries..

RE: Moving themes?
imposible,. you could add 3 low res(240x136 stretched to 480x272) picture's for a switching background,. but that is the max,.
Maybe you should ask a dev to make a plugin for this,. a plugin wich could switch between 01-12 backgrounds,. or saved jpg's>?

RE: Moving themes?
Just use the spiderman theme system_plugin_bg.rco and change the images that make the background and adjust the time between changing images.

I thought that there where only rotating objects in the bg of that theme ?
Try using my Little Big Folders theme. That has 4 animated pics that alternate in the background.
Like Schmilk said, just adjust the timing to your desire.
OH - and I would suggest using 8 bit PNG images. Optimize the file size before saving in Photoshop before saving to something small. Then you will be able to squeeze more in.
Also, like V1 said, go with a smaller resolution than a full 480x272.
I only used 480x272 in the LBF theme, because i had no idea what I was doing with Rcomage back then... (So you can change the dimension on those too)

Your lbf theme's backgrounds are not a full 480x272...
they are 240x136
Unless you released two vers...

animated gifs don't work
you can however extract each frame and do the same things as the sideshow except just replace each image with a frame and then speed up the switching if necessary.
here is an example
http://www.mediafire.com/?qjznujizyzz
i extracted the 4 frames of this gif
and resized them than replaced them using rcoedit.
that's it :/
